Today your mommy actually didn't slap my hand away when I tried to feel you moving! I was so excited...BUT...you are a stubborn little guy and wouldn't move but it's okay, honey...it's in your genes on both sides (the stubborn part) except from Gigi!!! I cannot wait to see you for the first time! I keep hoping that "today is the day" but you just aren't ready to greet us yet...that is okay, too! You will be well worth the wait!
Your mommy is doing so good. She is just a couple of weeks away from your due date and she is still up and around, doing a lot more than most women in her situation and in this horrible Texas heat! It has been over 100 degrees for 20 something days now! Tonight we are actually getting a break :)
Tomorrow, mommy is going to get the letters to spell your name on your wall above your bed. I am going to paint them to match your things and you will be official! I cannot WAIT to see you laying in your crib looking up at me! The days to come are going to be so love filled, excitement filled and joy filled that none of us will be able to contain ourselves! You are a lucky boy, Shane Michael!
